| The SH-1010, a new SAEC HDMI cable, employs foamed Teflon, this being the material with properties most closely resembling those of air which has the best high-speed and low permittivity characteristics. By combining the cable technology and know-how about things like the ideal cable structure born from the experience of SAEC's audio engineers, we have succeeded in producing an extraordinary HDMI cable that facilitates high-quality sound and images. Since HDMI cable transmits signals extremely quickly, it requires that the speeds in a multitude of lines are accurately matched. Also, because a large number of conductors are gathered together, sound and image quality varies subtly according to the way they are structured. The SH-1010 has an optimal conductor and an optimal structure arrived at by repeatedly experimenting with different conductors and different structures and watching and listening for the differences. In terms of sound-quality, something often described as a weak-point of HDMI, this cable is unmatched. With an extraordinary information capacity from the low band to the high band, a wide dynamic range and a high S/N, it offers high-fidelity rendition of original sound recorded in the SA-CD format. Of course, it can also be used to enjoy the full range of gradations between dark and light in high resolution images. |

To promote high sound-quality, high-purity copper which has undergone high-quality silver plating is employed. |

| Conductor Structure |
A shielded, twisted pair conductor which forms a main signal path and an unshielded twisted pair conductor which forms a sub-signal path are combined with a separating spacer resin to realize a construction which is extremely stable in terms of sound quality. |
| Insulator |
The main signal path employs foamed Teflon which has a low permittivity second only to air and low-loss characteristics. The sub-signal path embodiment employs dense Teflon. These insulators support high-speed transmission with a minimum of wave-form distortion. |
| Shield |
The shield of the main signal path employs a 2-layer shield structure provided by aluminum foil + silver-plated high-purity copper wire. The result is a shielding effect that is stable over a wide bandwidth and protection against conductor vibration. |
| Sheath |
Special halogen-free sheath with improved vibration protection are employed. Two differing materials are combined to suitably suppress vibration. |
